Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Polish producer of snacks Perla Polska announced that it will create between 100 and 150 new jobs at its production facility in Słupsk, Poland, in 2020. The company is looking for production staff, maintenance specialists, quality specialists, production managers and line leaders. The source also reports the company is currently building a new facility which is expected to be launched in 2021.
Founded in 2004, Perla Polska is specialised in the production of healthy snacks and antipasto, including hummus, prawns and salads. The company cooperates with the most popular retail chains in Poland and Europe (e.g. Lidl, Biedronka, Tesco, Auchan and Carrefour). The company has a factory near Słupsk, employing 500 people.
