Description

Linet, the Czech-based manufacturer of medical beds, has recently hired 150 new employees, as a consequence of the increased commercial demand due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Since June 2020, the company has introduced non-stop (24-hours a day) production for the first time in its history and the annual production of intensive care beds jumped to 1,200 per month.

The company expects to maintain this pace of production for the next four months, in order to satisfy also the requests coming from other European countries and the United States. In the meantime, Linet introduced some internal practices to protect workers from the pandemic, like automatic temperature measurement, disinfection, and a new regime of working shifts.

Linet is a division of the multinational holding organisation Linet Group, and a major European manufacturer of hospital and nursing beds.
