European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Maas Aviation, one of the largest commercial aircraft painting companies in the world, is to create around 400 new jobs in Kaunas at the beginning of 2021. The company is currently building a hangar at the Kaunas Airport where aircraft painting services will be provided to airlines and leasing companies. The construction is planned to be finished by the end of 2020. The company announced that it has formed an alliance with FL Technics which provides engineering and maintenance support for aircraft companies at the Kaunas Airport. According to the management, the alliance will allow to offer a one-stop-shop experience in Kaunas to airlines and leasing companies which combines painting with full engineering and maintenance support.
