Description
Aldi, the Germany-based global discount retailer, has announced that it is creating 4,000 permanent and 5,000 fixed-term contract jobs in its shops across the UK.
The business expansion is based on the company's need to deal with the increased demand in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The jobs include store assistant, logistics and head office roles.
A statement by the company said that vacancies are available in every Aldi shop and distribution centre, making this the company’s largest recruitment drive in the UK to date.
Aldi is a discount supermarket chain with over 10,000 stores in 20 countries, including UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Australia and the United States.
