Description
As announced on 16. January 2020, the German retail and coffee company Tchibo will gradually leave its distribution centre in Gallin until 2023, which will result in the loss of approximately 600 jobs. According to Tchibo, the logistic requirements have drastically changed in the last couple of years, making this closure necessary.
In future, Tchibo will supply all its European sites from Bremen, Neumarkt and Cheb (Czech Republic). The management announced that it will use the extended timeframe to find acceptable solutions for all employees.
