Description
The engineering company SKD Bojkovice, which specialises in the production of injection moulds and stamping tools, mostly for the automotive industry, was declared bankrupt and made all of its 350 employees redundant. The job cuts will affect 250 permanent and 100 agency workers. The company has been insolvent since October 2019, when the court approved its restructuring process. SKD Bojkovice has failed to find an investor and the COVID-19 pandemic has proved to be the last straw.
