Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Sensée, the British outsourced contact services firm, has announced that it is creating 500 permanent and 500 temporary positions across the UK in customer contact advisor, team manager and back office roles.
The recruitment to fill the new positions is already underway. According to the company plans, all of Sensée's employees will work from home via telephone, webchat, social media and e-mail.
The company’s chief executive officer has declared that their clients urgently need home workers to provide customer support in the Covid-19 crisis and added that Sensée is confident that, in the near future, working from home will be of key importance in customer services.
Sensée was founded in London in 2004 and operates nationwide. Its clients include several government departments and large companies, like Bupa.
