Description

Online shop Barbora providing food delivery at home services created around 324 new jobs in Vilnius in the period from 20 February 2020 to 30 March 2020. The main cause of the business expansion is a quarantine regime in Lithuania. To control the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the Lithuanian Government declared quarantine on the entire territory of the Republic of Lithuania as of 16 March 2020. Quarantine rules in Lithuania provide for limited number of people in supermarkets, thus more and more people tend to use Barbora‘s services and order food products at home. Barbora belongs to Maxima Group since 2017.
